Important Information

This class is REQUIRED for you to be able to use the ShopBot at Midtown. To use Hacker Lab Rocklin's desktop ShopBot you are required to take the Rocklin ShopBot class seperately.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that I love tools. As a Hacker Lab Facilitator, I can provide guidance and advice regarding how to safely use the tools at Hacker Lab. I have also gathered broad knowledge and some useful experience in many fields relating to Shop Craft, Design and Prototyping such as: Plastic, Fiberglass, and Carbonfiber - Fabrication, Molding and Casting, Metal Casting, Welding, Mill Work, Lathe Work, Laser Systems, Glass Blowing, High Vacuum Systems, High Voltage Systems, Optical Design, Metal Patinas, Metal Plating, Spray Painting, Wood Joinery, General Woodworking, Inlay, Intarsia, Guitar & Bass Luthiery, and Special Effect Photography, to name a few. However, I do not pretend to be an expert or current in any of these areas.

Please be aware: Most of our one-on-one classes require students to register at least 48 hours ahead of class time, after which they will be marked 'Not available'. Our regular cancellation policy of 48 hours of advance notice also applies.
