After working for Macys for 7 years I started my on visual company in the bay area doing windows for small boutiques. Which turn into a major visual company travel all over the United States consulting for large brands.

Between the early 80’s and late 90’s I had two mens stores in San Francisco, The Producer and Button Down both stores were high end. The focus was updated traditional and European imports. Launched my own brand Jon Michael Stevenson. Shirts, ties, pants, all made in USA.

In 1989 I launched my a baby brand called Trumpette in San Francisco. It was all contemporary baby wear. I was first to ever do black for babies. Trumpette was launched by Barneys New York. They had 23 stores across America and they created a Trumpette boutique in every store.
Trumpette was a trend setter.
