Note: This session is only for CARES program participants.  You must be an active CARES program participant and be signed into our website to RSVP.

Welcome new CARES program members!

In this third session we will examine the current state of PPE, including problems faced in its production, distribution, use, and compliance among various populations.

Topics include:
  • Types of PPE available vs. what is currently recomended by government & other health officials
  • Supply chain issues that existed in the early days of the pandemic, and how our handling of these issues has changed
  • Common misconceptions surrounding the effectiveness of various types of PPE, including what the goal of mask mandates are
  • Common usage errors
  • Overview of the DIY/Maker-Made PPE that's arisen.
We'll be running this event twice, once in the morning (10am) and a second session in the evening (6pm) so feel free to attend whichever event fits your schedule better.

We hope to see you there!
