New Member Virtual Orientation

This is a virtual orientation session for new Hacker Lab Members.

Though Sacramento County has been moved back into Phase II, we still want to do as much virtually as possible.

This orientation will cover the Hacker Lab's rules, terms, and conditions, an overview of Hacker Lab and what we offer, cover Hacker Lab's Makerspace rules in detail, updates on our access policies during the lockdown, and serve as a place to answer any questions you may have.

Attendees must be Hacker Lab members with an active membership.  You must take this orientation prior to getting a keyfobb and being able to use Hacker Lab's coworking & makerspace.

This session will be held via Zoom, you will receive login information once you RSVP.

Important: You must attend this session with both a working microphone and camera, and have them enabled (muting mike while not talking is okay).  We've added this requirement as we believe it is a necessity for effective communication, and we are trying our best to replicate the in-person orientations that are normally offered.

After attending this session you will be able to schedule a date and time to pick up your keyfob, get your makerspace badge, sign Hacker Lab's waiver, and take a safety tour of the facility.
