SAC-100: Learn to Make Fused Glass Pieces

LEARN TO MAKE FUSED GLASS ART PIECES

You will learn the process of creating fused glass pieces from a professional who has created products for Macys, Mikasa and Disney Galleries. For those who are interested, you can learn about production of larger runs as well as the process of creating individual pieces.

We will cover:

  • Basic Design Ideas
  • Choosing colors and style of glass for best effects
  • Preparing Glass for Fusion
  • Laying out your pieces
  • Finishing your pieces

This Class offers you an opportunity for Hands-on making!  Each student should have enough time to make at least 3 completed pieces to take home with them.

WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS?

Materials for this class will be supplied by the instructor.  There is a $20 materials fee for this class.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Pamela Conti is a professional art glass designer who has designed and produced pieces for a variety of clients, including Disney Galleries, Mikasa and Macys. She has an experienced eye for design and sellable products. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn from her about managing major production runs as well as the process of designing and creating art.
