SAC-100: : Vector Design with CorelDRAW

What You'll Learn

In this class, you'll learn how to use the software CorelDRAW for laser cutter and vinyl cutter. CorelDRAW is 2D vector design software for preparing designs to be cut on the Laser or Vinyl Cutters. Students will learn basic tools and techniques of CorelDRAW, including but not limited to:

  • Drawing shapes
  • Combining objects
  • Morphing designs using various

  • CoralDRAW
  • Vector Design

Important Information

This class is reccomended prior to taking Intro to Laser Cutter or Intro to Vinyl Cutter if you are inexperienced with vector design and design software. If you are already familiar with using design software, you may opt out of this class and sign up directly for Intro to Laser Cutting or Intro to Vinyl Cutter.

 

What to Bring?

- Your laptop with you: There are a limited number of lab computers with the lab software available. However, you may bring your own laptop with the software already installed.

- Bring a flashdrive with some storage

-For PCs: Load a (Free for 30-days) trial copy of CorelDraw: Corel Draw Trial Download Page
