SAC-Special: 2nd Saturday - Catharsis: A Sexual Harm Survivor Tribute
Hacker Lab and Artists of Sacramento along with Patron sponsor Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op invite you to join us in safe space, resources, and the powerful catharsis of creativity by and for sexual harm survivors.
Catharsis features new work by acclaimed Faceless artist Sarah Marie Hawkins, a music video and protest film debuts at 7PM sharp by Drop Dead Red in collaboration with THE Red Hand Movement, plus more art will be on display from survivors and allies like Savannah Edgeworth, Brooklynne Helmer, Syd Scanlon, Ashley Rae Berni, Shovel Teeth, Eben E. B. Burgoon, and more TBA.
While no one is turned away for lack of funds, we will be taking suggested donations for local advocacy organizations Sacramento Take Back the Night and V-Day Sacramento.
Due to heavy and triggering content matter, parental supervision suggested for guests under 18.
