2D Design for Laser & Vinyl Cutting

Overview

Whether for Graphic Design, Web Design, Laser Cutting, or Vinyl Cutting, vector drawing programs offer user the ability to create designs from the intricate to the ornate.

Join our instructor in covering the basics of vector design using the free software Inkscape.  The concepts covered will help you out no matter what Graphic Design software you end up using.

We'll Cover:
  • Drawing shapes, lines, and arbitrary polygons
  • Combining simple shapes
  • Morphing designs
  • Basic Inkscape features

Important Information

This course will be held online via Zoom.  Login information will be included in your ticket RSVP.

You will need to install Inkscape on your computer prior to the session.  Downloads for all platforms can be found here.
