What You'll Learn
This class is for you if you've taken the basic woodshop classes, or if you've already learned woodshop basics and want to apply them! This month, students will be learning to make a wooden step-stool. Good looking and handy to have around the house.
You'll learn how to make professional quality handcrafted wooden items. Author and teacher, Marc Berner ("Scroll Saw Basics for Dummies" book) will show you how to prepare, cut, plane, sand, glue, and varnish. He will take you through the project from raw wood to finished, useful product. Best of all, you take home what you make!

Important Information
Clothing: Please be sure to wear clothing appropriate for the woodshop. Jeans and t-shirt with closed toed shoes are the best. If you have longer hair, please tie it back or bundle it up into a cap.
Materials: The teacher will provide all the necessary materials. A $10 materials fee is built into the class fee.
