SAC-201: Stone Setting Project Class
What You'll Learn
If you’re interested in learning how to make jewelry and have experience soldering and bending metal for jewelry fabrication, this class is for you. This class allows students to develop on their soldering skills with advanced techniques applied towards setting stones in silver bezel cups. In this class, you’ll learn advanced techniques on how to strategically melt and solder bezel cups, learn how to set stones, as well as learn about heat, tools, and the properties of working with silver. In this class, you’ll get to choose your own 6mm stone to set in a sterling silver bezel cup: labradorite, lapis lazuli, and onyx. You’ll leave the class with a piece of your own silver bezel ring.
