SAC-Special: AgStart Founder Education Workshop #3: Developing Your Go-To-Market Strategy
Founder Education Workshops
AgStart's Founder Education workshop series is intended for innovators, entrepreneurs, and others focusing on agriculture and food innovations. The workshops are part of a sequence building on the concepts of the Business Model Canvas, and the Value Proposition canvas.
Our third workshop in this series focuses specifically on the various components of a firm's Go-to-Market strategy, specifically how they organize their Channels and Customer Relationships, two elements of their Business Model Canvas, to "Get, Keep, and Grow" their customers.
Our Guest Entrepreneur for our November 27th session will be Greg Connolly, Co-Founder and CEO of Trifecta Nutrition, a rapidly-growing West-Sacramento-based firm delivering fresh, healthy meals directly to their customers door on a nation-wide basis. Greg will share how his firm leverages an innovative influencer-marketing approach to target busy health-conscious consumers through sports and body-building personalities who act as marketing partners for Trifecta. Greg's go-to-market approach by-passes the clutter and expense of web-based advertising, and may be applicable to many sectors of the ag-&-food value chain where buyers are hard to reach directly, and many buyers rely on referrals and recommendations to determine what to consider.
